Positive Behaviour Support
Positive Behaviour Support focuses on evidence-based strategies and person-centered supports that address the needs of people with disability and the underlying causes of behaviours of concern.
LiveBetter's Positive Behaviour Support services include:
- Behaviour Support Plans (interim/ comprehensive)

- Restrictive Practices consulting, training and panel attendance
- Staff/ family/ carer education and training
- Skill development planning
- Individual therapy and counselling sessions
We employ a range of experienced Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioners including Registered Psychologists with experience across all ages. Our practitioners have extensive experience in implementing creative and safe strategies, targeted at reducing behaviours of concern and the use of restrictive practices.

Abel Trindade
Behavioural Support Manager / Senior Psychologist
Abel has diverse knowledge, skills, and experience in developing and implementing behaviour support interventions that focus on the quality of life of people with disability.
Qualifications: Registered Psychologist, B Social Science (Psych), B Teaching (Primary), M Social Change and Development, Specialist Certificate in Implementation Science and currently completing an MBA.
Complex Clinical Nursing
Our Registered Nurses are qualified to deliver complex clinical services within your home. They will work in collaboration with you, your team or your family to provide a care plan, that works for you.
The Nurses can be engaged for short or long-term clinical supports to provide a broad range of complex clinical care. Our Registered Nurses will partner with your family and/or GP and train your carers so they are aware of your specific needs.
Complex Clinical Nursing services include:
- Medication management
- Complex disability care
- Chronic disease management
- Mental health, aged care, and recovery and psychosocial disability within NDIS
If you receive funding from the NDIS for Staff Training, we can help.
Staff training ensures those supporting you are well prepared. We offer staff training across a range of areas including:
- Positive behaviour support
- Epilepsy
- Mental health
