Home Care Services Pricing

On this page you'll find pricing information about the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Home Care Packages and Fee for Service (private) Home Care Services.

Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)

CHSP services are part-funded by the government, and you will be asked to pay a contribution for each service that you use.

If you can't afford to contribute to your care, don't worry: you won't miss out. Please talk to us so we can discuss your options.

Home Care Packages (HCP)

The funds in your Home Care Package budget are made up of:

  1. The government's contribution to your care (the subsidy)
  2. Any government funded supplements you are eligible for
  3. An income-tested care fee you may be asked to pay, depending on your financial situation
  4. A basic daily fee that you pay (LiveBetter does not charge a basic daily fee)
  5. Any additional fees you agree to with us


These funds will be paid to LiveBetter, and we'll work together to decide how the money is spent.

Fee for Service Home Care

You might choose to use our fee for service home care services if you:

  • Are either not eligible, waiting to access, or have exceeded your government funding
  • Prefer to pay privately


These services are not subsidised by the government, so you will pay the full cost.
