This week is National Volunteers Week and LiveBetter would like to take this opportunity to recognise and celebrate the vital work of our volunteers.
Volunteers are an integral part of our community, sharing their time, their skills, and their compassion across many LiveBetter programs.
The theme for Volunteer Week 2023 is The Change Makers, and there is no doubt that the work of our volunteers contributes to positive change in the lives of the people we support, as well as the wider community.
All of us at LiveBetter would like to thank our Change Makers for all that they do for their communities.
We would also like to take this opportunity to encourage others to consider volunteering in some capacity. Even an hour or two each week can help to change lives.
Volunteering is not only a great way to give back to your community, but it also provides the opportunity to spend time with like-minded people, learn new skills and perhaps make lifelong friendships.
