Later this year Orange Thunder All Ability rep team will be on the road to play in a series of tournaments taking place in Port Macquarie and Canberra.
“All Abilities Touch Football is a great way to include players of all abilities in the great game of touch footy, where previously they may not have been able to participate in things like a Touch Competition.” says LiveBetter’s Supported Independent Living Area Manager, Dianne Ryan, who hopes that one day Orange Thunder could go on to win the Senior State Cup.
“Touch Football is a great fun way to have an active lifestyle, it is a sport for all ages, and the All-Abilities Touch Program has allowed our players to become valued members of the Orange Thunder community.”
While the team has shown us that they aren’t short on skill and enthusiasm, they are short on funds. This is where you come into the story! To cover the cost of footy boots and accommodation they need to raise some funds.
