Located on Prince Street in Orange, Café Connect is a LiveBetter social enterprise. It offers not just great coffee, but a range of employment and work experience opportunities for people living with a disability.
Recently our ‘Roving Reporter’ Juston Omrod visited the team at Café Connect to learn more about the great work they do. While there, he found out that whether they’re learning how to make barista coffee, brushing up on their customer service skills, or firing up the grill and cooking ‘the best bacon and egg rolls in the central west’, Café Connect gives people with a disability the opportunity to discover their own amazing abilities, practice their new-found skills, and share them with the rest of us.
