Aged Care Employee Day is a time to recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of each and every Aged Care worker in Australia.
The Aged Care sector has faced many difficulties in recent years, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic and related restrictions. These challenges have made it increasingly difficult for workers to provide essential care for their patients while also keeping themselves and their patients safe, and yet our aged care workers have continued to go above and beyond to provide care and compassion to our older community members.
We recently caught up with two of our Aged Care employees, Lisa Lloyd and Angus Kidd. This is what they had to say about working in Aged Care.
