Volunteers are a valuable part of LiveBetter's vision, by increasing the support we can offer to individuals, families and communities. Volunteering is important to cohesive and sustainable communities in regional Australia. Our volunteers tell us they are proud to make a difference and give back to their community.
Do you want to lend a hand to the people in your community? If so Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, develop professional skills and be an active member of your community. Join the many volunteers who are giving back to their community and making a difference to peoples lives. LiveBetter has more than 240 volunteers who support their local communities. Volunteer opportunities range across a variety of services and will be arranged to suit your lifestyle choices, matching the role to the time you wish to offer.
Being a Volunteer can help you by helping others and becoming more active in your community. Volunteering can also teach you more about different groups in your community. This opportunity is a great way to meet new people and to increase your self esteem and feeling of self worth. You will gain valuable skills, experience and more satisfaction from your life.
Our Volunteers are supported by our commitment to the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement in Not-For-Profit Organisations. This ensures volunteers are managed, supported and resourced in accordance with the National Standards and we advocate strongly that volunteer positions are never used to replace paid positions, only to add extra support and services to our customers and communities.
LiveBetter values the important contribution our volunteers make to their community and take this opportunity to say thank you once again.
