I swam with my kids for the first time
I'm a mum and a quadriplegic, and I am so grateful to have found McCabe Coffs Retreat. Thanks to the pool hoist that was available, I was able to swim with my children for the first time. We've already booked our next stay and we’re bringing the grandparents next time!

Can't wait to stay again
I was a Coffs local for 25 years so I know the important legacy of this house. I had family from Qld and Victoria join us on this trip and there was ample room for everyone. Special mention goes to the maintenance man, Tom, who cleaned the pool twice while we were there. Thank you - we can't wait to stay again!

Perfect for a family catch up
The property was spotless and the location was perfect. Thank you to the property manager who was very helpful and made sure we were happy throughout our stay.

About the 'House that Coffs built'
McCabe Coffs Retreat is a legacy to well-known locals Allan & Julie McCabe. When Allan suffered a sporting accident that left him a quadriplegic, the whole Coffs Harbour community came together to build a completely accessible home for Allan and his family to live in.
After Allan’s passing the McCabe family handed the keys over to LiveBetter, to ensure that the home would continue to be a place for families of all abilities to connect.
