Choice, dignity, and care in the final months of life
For many people, home is where they would like to be during their last months of life. LiveBetter provides discreet and professional care, ensuring those who wish to die at home have choice and dignity in the final stages of their life.
Our experienced team is flexible, and we do all we can to support families during this time. For example, we might start by visiting once or twice a week to help with the housework and build a rapport with you. Once we understand the best way to offer support, we’ll increase our services according to what is needed. Or we might provide more intense services towards the end of life.
Our services are unique and personalised to your individual needs. We’ll partner with you, your family and your GP, and we can also train your carers, so they’re aware of your specific needs.
The End-of-Life Pathway supports older people in their final months by:
- Enabling them to palliate at home in familiar surroundings
- Promoting dignity during the end-of-life stage
- Empowering them to implement their choices as they near the end-of-life
- Allowing family members focus on their loved one without worrying about domestic duties
- Offering respite to family carers when they are fatigued, or as care needs become more complex
- Providing professional support and reassurance throughout the end-of-life journey
Who is eligible for end-of-life care?
