LiveBetter Community Services is pleased to announce it will assume operations of Balranald Early Learning Centre, Balranald from 5 January 2026, with the centre set to open its doors to local families from 12 January 2026.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Balranald Community,” said Jenny Nalder, LiveBetter Head of Childhood Education and Development.
“We look forward to building on the incredible legacy established by the Balranald Early Learning Centre Committee, and to ensuring the Centre remains strong and sustainable, nurturing children’s learning and development for generations to come.”
Balranald Shire Mayor Louie Zaffina says Council is delighted to see LiveBetter stepping into this important role.
“The Early Learning Centre has always been a cornerstone of our community, and LiveBetter’s commitment ensures that local families will continue to have access to quality early education delivered by dedicated local educators.
“This partnership represents a positive step forward for Balranald,” said Mayor Zaffina.
LiveBetter, which also operates the neighbouring Euston Preschool, brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education and community services across regional New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland.
Under LiveBetter’s leadership, families can expect continuity of care, with existing staff remaining in their roles and day-to-day operations continuing without disruption.
The centre will maintain its current hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Wednesday, with plans to expand to five days once key staff recruitment is complete.

“With the support of Council, the committee, and local families, LiveBetter looks forward to ensuring families in Balranald continue to benefit from quality education and care services.”
