GETTING STARTED

Community Transport is for those who have limited or no access to other forms of transport, such as public transport or private vehicles, and are experiencing social or geographical isolation, or have mobility limitations.
No. Community Transport is available to people of all ages!
People aged 65 and over (or 50 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) must be registered with My Aged Care and have a referral to use Community Transport services.

Community Transport is designed to help you stay connected to your community. You can use it to get to medical appointments, participate in social activities, do your shopping and more.
Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm.
Call our team on 1800 580 580 or submit an online enquiry.
Please provide as much notice as possible. 2 – 3 days’ notice is ideal.
This is a shared service, meaning sometimes you may travel with others onboard.

PRICING

Community Transport services are low cost and subsidies are available for eligible customers.
Subsidies are available for eligible customers under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or Community Transport Program (CTP).

ACCESSIBILITY

Yes. LiveBetter has a range of vehicles - many of which are wheelchair accessible.
Yes. Just let our team know who will be travelling with you when you book your trip.
Our drivers can assist you by opening the door or helping with your bags (including shopping). Yes. Our drivers can assist you to enter and exit the vehicle.
