The LiveBetter First Nations Art Prize

Building Relationships, Promoting Respect and Developing Opportunities!
1st July 2024

This NAIDOC Week (July 7 – 14) will see the launch of the LiveBetter First Nations Art Prize. In a first for LiveBetter, the Art Prize is an opportunity for LiveBetter’s First Nations staff and customers along with First Nations community members, to enter their artwork and become part of the LiveBetter story.

The art prize theme, Relationships, Respect and Opportunities, reflects our commitment to working alongside First Nations peoples to advance the cause of reconciliation.

According to LiveBetter Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager, Kellie Martin, the LiveBetter First Nations Art Prize highlights the importance of cultural expression, and the vital role art can play in fostering understanding and appreciation of our diverse communities.

“The LiveBetter First Nations Art Prize is an opportunity for LiveBetter to promote artistic excellence and to reinforce our dedication to strong, respectful relationships,” said Ms Martin. “This is about creating meaningful opportunities within our communities.”
