understand what others say and develop skills to follow directions
address reading, writing and spelling difficulties
identify and minimise social barriers
understand and manage stuttering
introduce alternative communication strategies such as sign language, pictures, or assistive devises.
develop meal time management plans and
conduct swallowing assessments

LiveBetter's Speech Pathology team provide customised support to people with communication barriers and/or eating and drinking related difficulties. The team will identify and implement appropriately designed strategies to assist individuals to address:
slurred and/or unclear speech
inding or producing the right words
remembering or understanding what someone says
changes in voice
using alternative communicate methods such as; sign language, pictures, or assistive devises
difficulty eating, drinking or managing foods
coughing, choking or recurrent chest infections
The Speech Pathology team provide a high standard of clinical care, with skills and expertise in delivering exceptional services to individuals and families with complex needs such as autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities and individuals who have had a stroke, head injury or neurological disorders.
