Applications for school leaver traineeships are closing soon

Did you finish school last year and wondering what 2022 might bring? Or do you know a recent school leaver who has mentioned an interest of working in community services?

LiveBetter’s School Leaver Traineeships are the perfect stepping stone for young people who finished school last year and are considering a career in aged care, disability or community services.

With a total of 24 traineeships based across Albury, Bathurst, Broken Hill, Dubbo, Orange, Nambucca, Warren, and Wagga Wagga, this is the perfect opportunity to combine on the job training with formal study provided by Essential Skills, the Registered Trade Organisation (RTO) we have partnered with. Trainees will even be paired with a support worker to provide full-time supervision and mentoring in a supportive environment.

And the benefits are endless – not only will you learn on the job whilst being supervised by high calibre staff, you will also earn a trainee wage and finish with a qualification in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) that will make you highly employable in today’s job market. Plus, there is no cost associated with this program – so it’s a win-win!

Think you fit the bill? To be considered for one of the 24 traineeships, please submit your CV by Monday 7th March to recruitment@essentialskills.com.au.
